America On Tour: The People Who Make The Magic Happen

America (The Band):
Band and Crew

Dewey Bunnell

Vocals, Guitar

Founding guitarist, singer, and songwriter Dewey Bunnell has remained steadfastly devoted to America since 1970, with no major side bands but deep ties through collaborations with ex-member Dan Peek on his 1984 solo album Doer of the Word and production legends like George Martin across five albums (1974–1979).

Andy Barr

Vocals, Guitar, Keys

Multi-instrumentalist Andy Barr rounds out the harmonies on guitars and keys, fresh from his role as guitarist/keyboardist in pop-rock outfit Cobra Starship (2015 stint with America), and his space-folk project Formerly Alien (with Amy Merrill, blending sci-fi narratives and anthemic songs of hope on their 2019 EP Civilization Transport Systems), infusing their classics with a modern edge. This collective's diverse paths—from punk mosh pits to pop arenas—fuel America's timeless vibe, ensuring 56 years of hits feel vibrantly alive on stages nationwide.

Rich Campbell

Bass, Vocals, Tour Manager

From Paradise, California, bassist and vocalist Rich Campbell (with America since 2003) anchors the low end with a resume spanning R&B to rock: he backed Natalie Cole from 1985–1989, toured with Three Dog Night from 1989 until 1996, and performed with Dave Mason's band, The Edgar Winter Group, Badfinger, Gary Wright and Tiny Tim (yes, THAT Tiny Tim) while also tour managing Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band in the 90's.

Ryland Steen

Drums, Vocals

Drummer Ryland Steen delivers propulsive energy from his ska-punk roots in Reel Big Fish (2005–2014), where he laid down tracks on albums like We're Not Happy 'Til You're Not Happy, plus stints with Maroon 5, Kris Allen, Phantom Planet, Audiovent, and The Elected.

BIll Worrell

Guitar, Keys, Vocals

  • Bill Worrell originally began working with America as a guitar technician. His breakthrough came in 2009 when he was asked to sub in on stage for the band's long-time lead guitarist, Michael Woods.
  • By 2013, he officially stepped into the role of lead touring guitarist for America. Affectionately introduced on stage as "Billy the Kid," his role expanded beyond blazing electric guitar solos to playing the keyboards, backing vocals, and banjo during their international tours.

Travis Jameson

Stage Manager, Guitar Tech

From pop spectacles to classic rock anthems, Travis Jameson is a premier road technician known for his technical mastery and high-energy presence. He has spent years as a trusted "road warrior," ensuring flawless performances for global icons like Jennifer Lopez and serving as a longtime guitar tech and friend for the legendary band America.
Whether he’s managing high-tech stadium rigs or fine-tuning acoustic folk-rock sounds, Jameson’s upbeat spirit and reliability make him a standout in the touring world. He doesn't just keep the gear running; he brings a positive vibe to every stage he touches.

Jeff Worrell

FOH, Production Manager

Jeff Worrell is a dual-threat powerhouse in the music world, blending the soul of a performer with the precision of a master engineer. After touring the globe in the '80s as a guitarist for Natalie Cole, Jeff transitioned his musical ear to the soundboard, becoming one of the most trusted names in live production.
His impressive resume includes serving as the sonic architect for legends like Fleetwood Mac and Pat Benatar. For two decades, he has been the backbone of America’s live sound, acting as their Front-of-House Engineer and Production Manager.

Alex Drizos

On-Stage Audio

Alex Drizos is a high-octane talent who has conquered the stage from both sides of the speakers. A phenomenal bassist, Alex spent years providing the groovy, rock-solid foundation for legends like the "Queen of Disco" Donna Summer and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason.
Today, he brings that same musical intuition to the technical side of the industry, touring as the Stage Sound and Monitor Engineer for the iconic band America. Known for his sharp ears and infectious positive energy, Alex ensures every performance is sonically perfect, keeping the band’s monitors crisp and the show running smoothly. Whether he's slapping the bass or dialing in a world-class mix, Alex is a true pro who keeps the music playing loud and clear

Brynna Campbell is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, animator, and author based in Los Angeles. She is known for her creative range, which includes her 2022 album 1000 Masks, writing music for the web series Johnny Loves Taya, and authoring the fantasy novel Daughter of the Stars.
