Steve Fekete will be touring with The Goo Goo Dolls this fall, while America veteran Bill Worrell joins the entourage.
Message from Steve:
And that’s a wrap! After 8 incredible years with America I’m starting the new chapter of my career with the Goo Goo Dolls. Playing for America has been one of the proudest moments of my musical life, and I will cherish those days forever. Thank you Gerry & Dewey for bringing me into your world and letting me play your timeless music to the greatest fans. You both are as kind as you are talented and you always made me feel like part of the family. Thanks to the rest of the incredible team over the years…Rich, Ryland, Andy, Jeff, Travis, Alex, Ben, Eric, Akiko, Jim & mgt, the families, and of course…the “9” fans! See you all somewhere down the road! Onward!“ But now you’re gone, guess I’ll carry on and make the best of what you left to me”
Message from Bill:
Well, if there's one horse I'm ready to get back on, it's THIS one! I'm super stoked to announce that I'm rejoining America (The Band) on lead guitar, vocals, and a little bit of keys to boot! As my talented compadre Steve Fekete "slides" into his new role with The Goo Goo Dolls, I'm thrilled to be back in the saddle again! Hope to see you all out on the road!
